Not a better game on this end. Battle 8-3. While Battle did hit the ball hard and the VHS pitcher(Smith) didn't have his best stuff, errors really hurt the cats. 5 of the eight runs should have never crossed the plate. Battle is a much improved and played great defense. VHS comittted 5 errors.

This should be an even better matchup starting next season when this will be a district game for both teams!
It will be a great baseball district. Battle has a young team that is only getting better. Their line up is full of hitters.I'm not sure how many freshmen and sophmores they start but it is quite a few.

I would doubt it, but he does seem to do well with the kids. Also a very nice guy.
